Roll 8 – No Name Underwater Camera – TMax 400 – Holes, Teeth, & Walls…(but no underwater shots!)

Roll 8 is expired TMax 400 used in this no name underwater encased camera that was in a box of cheapo cameras gotten at a flea market for €1.  There were 4 of these, along with a bunch of other interesting and fun cameras, in the box…all unused.  It’s actually watertight too!

  1. El cheapo has some great results! It looks like a modified camera I once bought. Mine has a string hanging from it. If you pull it, you can take a double exposure. 🙂

  2. These are really neat, esp given the fact you *could* go underwater and take some pictures too. And roughly 1/4 Euro? I think I need to get up early on weekends and browse roadside sales.

    • My son and I go to a flea market just about every Saturday…we’re usually there when it opens to find the good stuff. We also go to a 2nd hand charity store every Wednesday…I picked up 2 really nice rangefinders an hour or so ago for 2.50 euros and now they’re going to be recycled and used, I like that idea.

      • Yes, that is one of the reasons I prefer buying used gear. Give it a second life and put it to use. I wish I had the patience to do camera repair, as I’d probably run around and pick up older SLRs, get them working well, then see if I could find someone interested in film photography. Once the weather turns, roadside sales pop up each weekend.
