Roll 17_ the Holga PAN

A mixed bag of results this week from my Holga Pan camera.

The Holga PAN is an expensive option for delving in to panoramic photography. It has a 90mm lens, a 180’ view on 120 film, speed of 1/100 with four focusing zones, two hot shoe mounts and a bulb setting…which i should have used in the woods. I always use film with a speed of 400. I developed at home using Ilford’s Ilfosol 3 for 8-1/2  minutes.

This camera works best in bright light which I found outside my front door.

I also took the camera up to the Salmon River Trail at the foot of Mt Hood. The light was bright but not bright enough. I should have put the camera on a tripod and used the bulb setting. I usually get better results than this, but I feel like this site should be about successes and failures. Even the failures aren’t too awful.
