Week 28: Devil’s Hopyard

I brought my Fujica GW690 out to one of my local state forests, Devil’s Hopyard.  I brought some Fuji Pro 400 and a new film (for me) Arista.EDU Ultra 100.  With my Lensbaby post, I had taken some pics of the falls from this state park already, but went hiking to see if I could get some vistas, but it was too heavily wooded.  There were a number of areas with lots of dead stands and dead falls, along with some obvious trail maintenance clearing.

I home developed both rolls, in a Jobo C-41 kit and semi-stand Rodinal 1+100.

And a bonus flower, a Purple Foxglove.

    • Thank you! Yes, it is a nice park. We also don’t have many waterfalls here, I think there is only one or two other state parks with natural waterfalls. Quite a few old mill complexes thought with spillways, but they aren’t quite the same.
