Week 29 – Bronica ETRS with Kodak Ektar & Ilford Delta 100

In week 29, my husband and I traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio to attend a wedding and visit some friends.

While in Cincy, I visited Spring Grove Cemetery, a very large and impressive historic cemetery founded near the same time as Elmwood, where I’m serving as photographer-in-residence this year.

Spring Grove is large enough to support deer in the middle of an urban environment. It was a treat to see this little fellow and his/her sibling.

Sometimes the grief that is still palpable from some of these monuments takes my breath away. The parents lived to be in their 60’s but none of their children survived to adulthood. How they must have mourned.
