Week 30: Magentatype and Black & White

The family came for a visit and I decided to throw caution to the wind and take a couple of packs of Impossible Film out with me. The film can be rather heat sensitive and the temperature seemed cool enough for our adventures around Golden Gate Park and Haight Street.

The murals that dot Haight Street are excellent for portraits. There’s a really big black and white one currently on display at Haight and Masonic that was perfect for black and white film. Otherwise, the elder nephew is over six feet now and it seems like only yesterday I could carry him in a sling.

  1. Absolutely love the magenta instant film. Too bad it was a limited edition batch… Great portraits as well. I loved them immediately when I saw them on Instagram.
