When Autumn arrives in the Portland area we are treated to early morning fog. I try to get out early enough to see the fog, the dew on the long grasses and the rising sun through the trees. It burns off quickly, but while it lasts I try to make a few images with my Olympus OM1. I took these photos on my walk through Graham Oaks Nature Park, a few miles south of Portland. Sometime I am lucky enough to have a deer or two cross my path, geese fly overhead and even coyotes come out of nowhere. I enjoy living across the street from this park and I try to go out and enjoy it every day of the year.
The light play in the mist is sublime

The last one with the light breaking through the trees is spectacular!

Lovely. I wish we had more fog here in Memphis. It’s incredibly fleeting when we do.
