Fellow 52-roller Daniel VanDurmen lent me his Minolta Hi-Matic E to use when I was in the throes of rangefinder GAS on Twitter one day. The Minolta is an automatic exposure rangefinder with bright frame lines that is great for street shooting and handles nature scenes beautifully. Unfortunately, the battery was a bit low so many shots didn’t come out, but the ones that did were just lovely.
Thanks for the loan, Daniel! More weeks 42-43 at my Flickr page.
Nice! The Hi-Matic series is great, my very first camera was a Minolta Hi-Matic 7s, still works mechanically, the light meter sadly died 😦
