roll 51: Last minute Christmas

After 50 rolls and 50 weeks I am running out of things to say. My roll 51 is from my Olympus OM1 and Portra 400 film. I scanned on an Epson V700 and did no editing, which is pretty obvious. I think I am burned out.

I made a trip into downtown Portland to do some last minute Christmas shopping and I was hoping to take pictures of all the decorations in the city. I was very disappointed. I remember when lights would be strung across SW Broadway and shop windows would have animated displays. My favorite was the 12 Days of Christmas in the Meier and Frank windows. This year: zip, zero, almost nothing. Well, nothing but displays of clothes and items to buy. I pretty much had to go inside the stores to find anything that looked like an expression of the holiday season. There were a few exceptions with ornaments displayed in the windows, but that was about it.
