Back to Lester Washington

I and some friends went out to the remains of a ghost town, and this time my camera didn’t malfunction.  I brought a Canon A2E that works great.   I switched between a 20mm f/1.8 and a 50mm f/1.8 lens.  Shooting some bulk loaded black & white cassettes and some color film.  I developed the black & white at home, and had the color done at the drug store.  Then I scanned all of it myself.

It was a fun trip, but there was more walking than I remembered from last time.

Old washing machine in the woods. Someone probably dragged it out there from the house.

A friend brought a Mamiya Universal out, and was shooting some instant film.

Here’s some shots of the 2 houses that are near each other:

We managed to find some more stuff this time.  A cabin and trailer in the woods nearby.

And here’s an old car near the road on the way in:

It was a good walk and a fun afternoon. I’m sure I’ll be back in the next few months.
