So, work has gotten the best of me for the past month and a half. I’ve been making time to go out and shoot, but the development and scanning have been accumulating quite the backlog. Things are finally starting to calm down and slowly, I’m trying to catch up on things. I managed to get 7 of the 14 rolls developed over the weekend, but this is the only one I’ve scanned so far. That being said, let’s talk about the photos, shall we?
For this roll, I wanted to travel light, so I grabbed my T60. I’ve said it before, but I really love this camera. It’s super lightweight, and the old 50/1.8 lens I’ve got on it has a certain aesthetic that I love, particularly for photographing things in states of decay. It also has the benefit of being able to shoot without a lens attached – I had read a post somewhere about the idea of “freelensing”, and I was curious to try it for myself. My results were mixed. Of the six shots I tried, only one came out, but I’m pretty happy with it. These were shot on Tri-X @ 400, developed in DD-X. No post other than cropping.
