Most of these panorama shots were made on Orcas Island, in the San Juan archipelago, this summer. All five rolls were shot using the terraPin Kaiju 6×18 Pinhole Gamera that I designed and 3D printed. Click on any photo to see it larger, in brilliant PINAVISION!
Film: ILFORD PAN F Plus ISO 50

Looking east from Mount Constitution, Moran State Park -Mt Baker (volcano) on the horizon, Bellingham (Bay) middle, Lummi Island, Clark and Barnes (parallel islands in Rosario Strait).
Film: FUJICHROME Velvia 50 Professional [RVP50]

No Smoking. On a Washington State Ferry (accidentally opened the camera without finishing winding the film)

Floating islands. Looking north from the north shore of Orcas. L to R: Patos Island, Sucia Islands, Matia Island.
These rolls were processed by Moon Photo in Seattle; all images were scanned by me without deliberate alteration. More photos from this and my other 52Rolls can be found HERE.
These are fun and much sharper than I expect from a pinhole

Ha, thanks, keep in mind that the slides are huge at 6×18, and with an ISO of 50 grain is non-existent.

Lots of great shots here – especially like “Foster Point”

Thanks! I never would have picked that one, but I love to get that kind of feedback.

I like the softness and the rich colours and implied motion. The San Juans were a huge part of my childhood, I went to school for a month of the year at Friday Harbor, and otherwise spent the summers on San Juan Island. That image speaks to me very clearly of the San Juans.
