This week around town with my F4S and some Delta 100, developed in Tanol.
What I wanted to do this time was to do like Cartier-Bresson, no cropping, full frame negative with the small black border all around. The idea of shooting the final image right from the start was the motive here. Also, minimal post-production, thinking, it’s the 30’s, traditional printing on enlarger, so what is accepted is some contrast control by choosing the right paper for the negative, I did that here after scanning with levels adjustment, and after printing some spot removal with ink and pencil, I did that here removing just the big spots. Also did a little dodge and burn digitally, because that was also done in the past with various masks and card holes during the right printing time!
Diggin’ the last frame.
