OK I lied. I actually have three rolls for Doors Open Denver. So this is week #2, with one more to come……….
Somewhat of an ooooops, as I had Ilford 3200 in the camera and didn’t realize that. So we have lot’s of grain on a partly sunny day in downtown Denver:
Now we’ve seen similar shots before looking down the Mall towards the Capitol. But the young man in dressed black (and obviously a tourist) was trying sooooo hard to get a good selfie with the Capitol in the background. So I decided to take a picture of hime taking a picture of himself.
I have a an ongoing project of photographing ghost signs. The Barteldes Seed Company sign is on a building near the Transit Station. So We pass by it often. I liked the double exposure better so I’m posting it. And Nearby, details from a Lamp Post:
A Marijuana Wellness Center…….Legal here in Colorado, making us a druggies vacation destination. People are also moving here for both medical and recreational reasons.
Rockmount defined the Western Wear style in the 1950’s and continues as a successful family owned business today. We had a behind the scenes tour with the founder’s Grandson.
And finally, it was the weekend after Prince’s death, and a famous local live music venue (originally built as a silent movie theatre) posted Music Fans’ Sentiments:
Tech Info: Ilford Delta 3200, Holga 120N with orange filter. Developed and Scanned by Oldschool Photo Lab.
I did this a couple of times on purpose … once with Kodak P3200 and once with Kodak Tri-X 400 pushed to 1600 in daylight 😀

I’ve tried it on purpose also…….but this time was a ‘mistake’. But I love the grain so it doesn’t bother me. Adds another dimension.
