For about a week, I kept walking by this Ornamental onion in a neighbor’s front yard. So last Sunday, with the light failing, I took out my B&J 4×5 press camera and set up the shot. I couldn’t get the 150 mm to focus this close to the subject, turns out there was not enough length in the bellows being so close. So I switched out the 150mm for the 90mm and was able to make this shot. Taken with Ilford Delta Pro 100 film 30 seconds at f/8 (twilight light), developed in Ilford DD-X developer at 75 F, and scanned on our Epson V700 flat bed scanner. Adjustments to contrast and a little cropping in Lightroom.
