Trying to find the weakest link in the workflow-chain I took my reliable Canon EOS 30, loaded her with a brand new CHM 100 film and bought a new bottle of Adonal developer. The results came out better, indeed, than using outdated material. Seems like one has to have special skills to compensate the difficulties when using outdated stuff.
Now that I know what I can get, I am much more confident that shooting film is the right way. Because results really matter to me and all the processing fun leaves a bitter taste, if the pictures suck in the end. For this time I am absolutely pleased.
So here we go with some Summer impressions. Caught either with the fabulous EF 1.8/85 or the equivalent EF 2.8/40 STM.
Nice.
