So this week I shot a roll of Lomography Redscale.
I thought long and hard about what to shoot then it came to me. I have a Lego astronaut figure so I thought it would be cool to photograph him at London locations but with the redscale it might look like it he was visiting the planet.
Now one of the things I find most difficult with the Holga is focus. I’m fine at infinity but anything else I can never get right.
So I will try this concept again as I really like it, but probably 35mm. The results for this time not good at all. And oh yes those are my fingers in one shot with the realisation that what you see in the viewfinder is not quite what you see through the lens.
I can completely understand. I have had a couple of great ideas for this project that haven’t worked out as well as I had hoped. I can’t wait to see the 35mm shots with this concept.

Same for me…Infinity with the Holga is ‘perfect’, the rest is guess work. So usually a bit out of focus. Interesting, do try again…..
