Back in Paris once again after more than two weeks’ of travelling. And one of the good things about working here is that we often have meetings at our institute. Some friends dropped by my office for coffee, which was nice, and I got a ‘meta’ version of the conference photo (that’s what happens if you are only using a 50mm lens, and all the parking spots in front of the building are taken).
Other than that, I just had time for a quick walk around Luxembourg, you can see how deserted it is now. Just flat grey light, but hey I am back to push-processing again. The trees against the sky look nice at this time of year. Even on a Sunday afternoon, Luxembourg was deserted. I realise I have almost come full-circle to my post from Week 3… at least I didn’t take the same photographs this time :-):
And of course there is always time for a quick walk around town at night:
That’s it for this week. Next week: Mostly Paris. What else :-).
Here are my other posts on 52rolls. and…here is my website.
Technical. Photographs were taken with a Leica M6 with a Summicron f2.0/50mm. Film: Kodak Tri-X at 400/1600 developed in Rodinal 1+50 for 11/15 mins. I am experimenting with Rodinal once again because I have used up almost all my HC110. I think if (a big if) you can keep the grain under control, it looks really great.
Paris in 2018 for sure for Heather and I.
