Pics from my Bell & Howell BF ( Big Finder) 35 plastic thrift store special with 35mm fixed focus F8 aperture. $1.50 US.
My wife found a similar grey plastic B&H camera except with a 28mm lens and F11 aperture. BTW – hers is available from the Film Photography Project store.
We had a shootout last weekend taking the same shots to see whose was the better camera. Hers won by a nose with slightly more sharpness and better colors. Oh well.
The quality of these images is about what I normally see if I’m not wearing my glasses, a world of soft colors and slightly out of focus.
Blu Life XL for the BF 35 portrait.
Very cool. I am always looking for thrift shop cameras. I know it is a common thing, but last weekend for the first time I found a roll of film in one and developed it. 2 images from decades ago.
