So back in early December, I took out our Horizon swing lens panorama camera to make a night photo of a hockey rink at a local park.
The Horizon is a mechanical swing-lens panoramic camera, manufactured by Krasnogorsky Mechanicheskiy Zavod (KMZ) in Krasnogorsk, Russia. The unique design of this camera is its rotating lens that allows it to take a 120° panorama by exposing a 24mm x 58mm wide frame on a roll of 35mm film. You can read more about it on the Lomo site.
I’m only posting one image since I took a whole roll from the same spot and only varied exposure. Exposed on Ilford HP5+ film.
Well this is my final post for 2016. I had a wonderful experience. It drove me to shoot and develop a lot of film. Unfortunately toward the end I got significantly behind on my developing. I want to thank the project hosts for the invitation to participate.
I was going to take a break for 2017, but reconsidered. I plan to start my 2017 posting earlier in March. Until then.
Good to hear that you’re carrying on…
