Mid-July we ventured north east across Colorado to the Pawnee National Grassland, home of these buttes.
Unfortunately I didn’t realize that I’d grabbed one of the recalled rolls of TMAX, so there is ghosting on the negative.
I tried to remove the portion of the sky with the roll numbers and the Kodak logo.
Near the Buttes is the Cedar Creek Wind Farm, the towers are known as Prairie Sentinels.
I finished off the roll back home in Boulder county. I’d been meaning to photograph this old abandoned farmhouse and a field with hay bales.
Images were made with a Mamiya 6, 50 mm wide angle lens, on TMAX 400 film, developed in Clayton F76+ developer. The scans were made with an Epson V700 flat bed scanner.
