Week 20: Let’s do it again

I had so much fun with the Bronica SQ-Ai and the 80mm f/2.8 in week 19 that I shot with the same combo the week after as well. And I shot Ilford HP5+ again. It’s becoming my go to film. I think I can stop buying anything else. 🙂

TK Roll 2015–18: Autocord in Black and White (Tri-X 400)

If you’ve come across my posts before, you may have noticed that I have taken quite a liking to a nice old 1960s Twin Lens Reflex camera, a Minolta Autocord with an Optiper shutter and a 75/3.5 Rokkor taking lens. In color, the thing just produced ridiculously beautiful color negatives. But months back, I’d already…

Week 2 – 2014: It’s been a while

Man I’ve slacked off! As some of you may remember I also started 52rolls. But in 2014! Now more than one year later I’m finally getting around to scanning, developing and posting the rolls I actually shot. I eventually gave up, but I thought I’d show the results from the rolls I shot. The images…

Roll 17 – Yashica D & Ektar in the Music City

I had to travel to Nashville last week for work, installing additional signage in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Luckily, as planned, I was able to get done a little after lunchtime on my final day, so I took the bag of cameras and film I brought with me, and set out on the…

roll 44_ Toy Camera Day

I took out two cameras for World Toy Camera Day on October 18th, my Holga 120 CFN and the Holga PAN. I don’t have the negatives back for the Holga PAN so those will have to wait until next week, but here are the ones from the plain old black plastic Holga 120. Sadly my…

Olympus Chrome Six – Here & There

After a roll taken with my Olympus Chrome Six RIIB is developed, I usually find myself astounded by the quality of the images it produces. The glass is clear and sharp, and the colour reproduction is exceptional. Often I use Reala or Ektar, but a few months ago I loaded a roll of Velvia 50.…

roll 28_ small towns

On my little road trip to Washington I stopped in the town of Kalama to visit some antique stores, but the one I really wanted to visit closed 30 minutes before their posted quitting time. So I walked around the town with my Hasselblad 500 CM and a roll of Ilford HP4 Plus taking photos…

Weeks 7, 8 and 9 – some pinholes and not

I seem to have gotten into a three weekly schedule. We have also had a very mild winter this year, and no end of precipitation. Where I live, first lots of snow, and for the last month rain and more rain. But at our cabin in the mountains, now that is another story. Bucket loads…
