Weeks 19-22: Pretty Much Wandering Around Toronto

Week 19:  I started with a wander at the further end of Queen Street East in the Beach.  Camera and film used was my Hasselblad 503CXi and Kodak Portra 400 film.   Week 20: This week I was further west and north into Cabbagetown and so much caught my eye.  Camera and film used was my Pentax 645N and Kodak…

Week 18: Purchased a Holga 120N

Walking in the other direction at the Beach, Toronto for more from the Winter Stations Design Exhibition and other sights along the way. The Holga 120N uses 120 film and is one of my preferred formats, 6X6. I had to buy one.  While I love the dreamy and oh so soft edges,  I’m not so sure…

Week Six: Anything Red

It was a few days after Christmas so finding anything “red” was not too hard and I’m all about making life easy.  I was terribly smitten by the dressed-up dog and even walked onto what I consider private property to get closer.  All the images were captured in the Beach, Toronto.   Thanks for stopping…

Week 20: Let’s do it again

Week 15: Color!

For week #15 I used the Bronica SQ-Ai again. This time with the 150mm f/4. I hadn’t used that lens before and wanted to see how it fares. I discovered that it’s a bit too long for what I normally shoot. I went meterless again just like in week #14. Bronica SQ-Ai, 150mm f/4, Kodak…

Week 8: First roll through the Bronica SQ-Ai

When the father in law of a friend of mine died he left a whole darkroom and a small camera collection. They didn’t know what to do with it so they asked me. And now I’m the proud owner of a fully equipped darkroom and a beautiful Bronica SQ-Ai kit with three lenses. On week…
