Popped a roll of what I thought was in date Fuji Superia 400 into a Canon 1n.
When I looked at the negs I knew something wasn’t quite right.
Then I remembered that the roll had been out of its box so I had no idea how old it was.
Judging by the underexposed grainy mess it hadn’t had a good life.
What followed was an evening of swearing at my scanner and relying on my Ninja skills in Lightroom.
I’ve a few remaining random expired rolls lying around the house and when they’re gone it’s fresh film only for me.
That “sand angel” picture is crazy good!

Thanks. That’s my son and he’s no angel…;-)

I like the results…a fortuitous accident.

I have found that expired Superia 400 doesn’t really hold up for me either, it looks great when fresh though.
I do like these though 🙂
