One of my favorite medium format cameras got the nod this week, the Pentax 6×7 Mirror-Up SLR beast!
*(Disclaimer… ALL of my medium formats happen to be “one of my favorite”… but I digress). 🙂
I picked up this system (frame, two lenses, hood, grip, etc.) some time ago and is one of the few heavy cameras I’ve taken on hikes into the wilderness. I’ve always shot 120 through it, but it does take 220 as well and I should seriously consider using that instead as the 120 only gives me 10 exposures, which can fill pretty fast!
This week I ran two rolls of Arista Ultra 400 and one roll of ancient Tri-X Pan 35mm which I taped to the underside of the paper from the first roll and ran it through again. Here are this week’s shots I felt worthy of sharing, enjoy!
*Note: I put this together as an “Umbrella” themed shot for the 365 project I’m involved in, which is why the lighting placement is pretty much ridiculous 😉
And finally, my 4×5 sheet of the week: More Snow! And just when things were starting to get green. Honestly, spring can’t get here soon enough; pretty tired of winter about now! Thanks for looking, see you next week!
